Cultivating Compassionate Self-Parenting to Heal Self-Sabotage

Procrastination, perfectionism, and shame frequently get in the way of moving towards what we want in life. Compassionate self-parenting, or learning how to be compassionate with your inner child is one way to empower yourself to make progress toward your goals. Notably, self-criticism has been shown to paradoxically increase depression and social anxiety. In this class you will learn a) how to tell if your inner child can benefit from self-compassion, b) what self-parenting styles may maintain self-sabotage, and c) a tool to incorporate into your life to increase a self-compassion.
