Arunima Srivastava, RYT200

Arunima was born in West Bengal – east coast of India – and brought up on the west coast in the city of Pune-India. She has lived in the USA for 21 years in Maryland, Georgia, Tennessee, and presently in Apex, North Carolina for the last five years. Arunima has a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology and a Post Graduate Diploma in Communication Media for Children. Certified through YogaFit and Life Power Yoga, she enjoys practicing and teaching all kinds of Yoga and Meditation. Arunima is presently pursuing Qigong, Energy Medicine and Quantum Healing and offers healing sessions.

The warrior series is Arunima’s favorite, especially Warrior 1 and Warrior 2. The warriors represent to her personally the brave warrior who has to forge forward into the battleground (of life) in order to make it easier for others who follow. The warrior spears through his/her own fear, limitations, and vulnerability to fight the good war of light, peace and love. He/she is the first responder for humanity. The Humble Warrior pose signifies that even the bravest must bow to the universal force of life, take a rest, and seek help and guidance when required. The warrior remains strong yet humble in his/her victory (over circumstances of all kinds) and never takes undue advantage of those less fortunate, always ready to serve humanity – for peace, love & harmony for all.
